Notes
From England comes this Gamage palming coin c1935 in very fine condition. The coin is the same on both sides with the condition similar on both sides. This Gamage palming coin is listed in the Kuethe magic token guide as MT139 and is a white metal coin approximately the size of a half dollar. This is one of your better examples of a palming coin from strictly a manipulator's point of view with its well milled edge and thin profile, as well as the bright finish to pick up light to better seen from a stage or parlor. Gamages was a department store (purportedly closed in 1972) with a long rich history having begun in the late 19th century by Arthur Gamage. The emporium was noted for its toy and magic sections as well and many Gamagic items are collectible today.
