The Doctor (Stephen Rea), as he calls himself, is a mentally disturbed person, kidnapping women around town. He tortures and finally murders these women and wants everyone to watch. He broadcasts his cruel murders online for the world to see. At the same time, people are turning up dead after logging on to a websites called feardotcom. Nobody knows what is happening and if these people’s deaths are related. However, detective Mike Reilly (Stephen Dorff) and Terry Huston (Natascha McElhone), an associate at the Department of Health, are trying to solve the mystery. They might even have to enter the website themselves, risking their own lives.
