Barbie, princess Genevieve (Kelly Sheridan) and her 11 sisters absolutely love to dance, listen to music, and do things all together that are beyond fun! But when their father, the king Randolph (Christopher Gaze) and his cousin Dutchess Rowena come to turn them into much better ladies the dancing, music, and fun are no more. For their father and Dutchess Rowena (Catherine O'Hara) think that is not at all lady like. A wonderful magical land is found and soon enough Barbie and her 11 sisters are running away to the magical land so they can dance till' their feet get sore. But their father gets ill and they cant find their way back home. Can Barbie and her sisters get back and save their dad in time? Or will it be the last time they hear of him again?
