ITEM: New England Convention of Magicians Brass Badge, from convention in Boston, in 1939. Top of badge is the name holder, where card with name could be slid in place. Image above slot is the six New England states.

Design around the name slot is of a pot of baked beans, and a cod fish.
A blue satin ribbon extends downward to a second brass part of the badge. Image in center is a rabbit waving a wand over a top hat, as cards fly out with "O C T 7-8" on the cards.

Text around the edge of this lower piece:

"NEW ENGLAND CONVENTION OF MAGICIANS 1939"
DATE: 1939
SIZE: 2 inches in width, 4 inches from top to bottom.
CONDITION: Minor aging discoloration on the metal. No wear on the design. If graded like a coin, it would be VERY FINE. Ribbon is also in Very Fine condition, fully attached. In otherwise Very Fine, almost Mint condition.
